      what is a WS7?
Well a WS7 is not a factory code. It is simply when
a Trans AM owner makes his car appear to be a WS6.
This is so the car doesn't have false badges and is a poser
      pretty much.

      Resetting the PCM (LS1):

The way to reset the pcm is to first turn the
key on (not cranked) then remove the pcm
ign and pcm bat fuses from the fuse boxes
located in the engine bay on the drivers side
(in front of fender), then turn key off, replace
fuses then start her up. Your PCM is now
reset. If you had any code showing (SES)
before... it should now be gone now.. if it
comes back on then you need to have the
code scanned so you can pinpoint the
problem and correct it. Once corrected you
can reset the PCM again to see if you solved
the issue. The computer will relearn everything
       including anything previously programmed
      such as  with LS1edit.

Perform the following procedure to return the
learned idle to the correct position:

      Automatic Transmission:

      1 Turn off the ignition

2 Restore the PCM battery feed

3 Turn Off the AC controls

4 Set the parking brake and block the drive wheels

      5 Start the engine

6 Allow the engine coolant temperature to reach 176 degrees F

7 Shift the transmission selector into the drive range

8 Allow the engine to idle for 5 minutes

9 Turn on the AC controls (Omit for 2000-02 model)

10 Allow the engine to idle for 5 minutes (Omit for 2000-02 model)

11 Shift the transmission selector into Park

12 Allow the engine to idle for 5 minutes (Omit for 2000-02 model)

13 Turn off the AC controls (Omit for 2000-02 model)

14 Allow the engine to idle for 5 minutes

15 Turn off the engine for 15 seconds

      Manual Transmission:

      1 Turn Off the ignition

2 Restore the PCM battery feed

3 Turn Off the AC controls

4 Set the parking brake and block the drive wheels

      5 Transmission in neutral

      6 Start the engine

7 Allow the engine coolant temperature to reach 176 degrees F

8 Turn on the AC controls (Omit for 2000-02 model)

9 Allow the engine to idle for 5 minutes (Omit for 2000-02 model)

10 Turn off the AC controls (Omit for 2000-02 model)

11 Allow the engine to idle for 5 minutes

12 Turn off the engine for 15 seconds

      LED HELP:

( VEHICLE VOLTAGE - (# OF LEDs x FORWARD VOLTAGE) ) / LED FORWARD DRIVE CURRENT

      For your example:

      Vehicle voltage = 14.4v
      # of Leds = 1
      Forward voltage = 1.7v
Forward drive current = ??? you didn't give it.
      Most are 20mA or .02A

      ( 14.4 - (1 x 1.7) ) / .02 =
      ( 14.4 - 1.7 ) / .02 =
      12.7 / .02 = 635 ohms

      Use a 1/2 watt resistor.

If you can't find it, use a slightly smaller
resistor, since most LEDs have a range
of operable voltages anyway. For example,
your LEDs probably have a forward drive
voltage of 1.7v with a max of 2.0v or 2.2v.
